I'm referring to www.THESECRET.tv @ featured on Oprah Winfrey. If you're not please don't answer this question but if you are tell me how it inspired you? Did you always believe in the law of attraction/positive thinking/and visualization or was this a completely "new" concept for you?

Oh my goodness! I was sooo inspired. I have always pretty much believed in it. "Conversations with God" series by Neale Donald Walsch is a lot like "The Secret." Same ideas pretty much. I own the dvd featured on Oprah and I cried all the way through it. God and everything else finally made sense to me. After watching it, I finally know I have the power to call forth every situation in my life by just thoughts. It was almost surreal. We grow up our whole lives by parents and other authority figures telling us we have to do this or do that or we'll go to hell. This has always troubled and startled me. When I watched The Secret, I finally felt there was a huge burden lifted off of me. I felt alive. I am so careful what I think and say now. When I start feeling down in the dumps, I now put a smile on my face and go outside and hug a tree (I know it's funny but try it, it helps!!). I feel 100% better. You should definately read the first book in the Walsch series. You'll be hooked. It is also ispiring. I hope that you watch the DVD and am inspired like me. I have been a user of the Secret for many years, but when I went thru my divorce I lost the secret. I also lost my will to live, but slowly I am getting it back! The secret dvd is awesome. The power of attraction is powerful, just remember not to loose all logic and reasoning when using it, and pick things that are smart for your life and don't pick self destructive things.
In 11 years I have earned over a millon dollars, and many of my dreams have come true by just properly applying the secret. Its the real thing.
The DVD is a must have!

I have always believed this way.
I liked the way they phrased forgiveness with gratitude.
Louise Hay has taught this message for a long time.
When you manifest something
you put in positives, exactly who you want, in the now phrase.
only the positive.
you make a list of gratitude each night. that way you go to bed with positive thoughts on your mind and wake happy.
it takes practice and it does work.
I would like to know if these guys have any meditation tapes.
I like Carolyn Myss -- she is wonderful!
the secrect has been around for years.
i was taught as a child, you are who you associate with, surround yourself with greatness.
Jealousy is foriegn to me.
I even got kicked out of games, for cheering for the wrong team!
We are all winners!

I've meditated on somethings so "well" that they manifested in my life - problem is, they backfired something awful on me. The wonderful guy had a closet of skeltons, the great job turned out to have some unethical requirements. etc.
So I leave the manifesting to the universe.
