we have 3 indoor rabbits in cages, have own bedroom, you can train a rabbit, for being loose like a cat or dog, cat box train them, but for me rabbits and dogs, cats love to chew, I bought a tall wire crate for dogs, or others cages about 2 foot tall, wide, if it is a dwarf, if not 2-4 foot cage, then you can take it out. The best thing we've bought to get rid of pee, amonia smell is the Febreeze plug in oil warmer, with replacable oils, it lasts about 1month on low, 3-4 weeks on high. It has two fragrances. And about 7 choices of each When your landlord comes make sure bunny is outside or someplace lardlord won't see, bunny will shake bars. Let bunny out to play, we have laminate wood floor, so it dont damage with pee, and we take bunny out to play during summer and eat grass inclosed yard only, watch for hawks.Either tell landlord, or not. Pay pet deposit, or some don't allow pets.

Yes,you can. But they do chew ALOT & will chew ANYTHING!!
And their pee really stinks...really bad. Really bad.
If you want a dwarf rabbit it might be less smelly & easier to mantain.
If you want a large or a giant rabbit you should keep it outside in a pen protected from the wind & sun.
Rabbits actually do better in the cold than in the heat. Only if it drops below 20* do we put hay in with ours. In the summer they get frozen water bottles to keep them cool.

Yes, you can. We had a bunny, the landlord was okay with it. She was kept on our patio (which was inclosed with a high fence). We would let her in to play with us, but bunnies are chewers. They will chew ANYTHING (Rosie ate my screen door). Electrical cords are a thing to worry about. You want to "bunnyproof" your house. Make sure cords are out of the way from bunny. Remember, bunnies are small (okay, not all of them, but some are little) and they can squeeze behind furniture, entertainment centers..etc..and cords are hiding there.
Also, bunnies like to play. I didn't know this about mine for a while. She liked to roll empty 2 liter soda bottles around, or jump over the cat...or jump over her toys.
Another thing, if you keep your bunny outside..watch for cold weather. We would put a bottle of hot/warm water in for her to cuddle up next to. We had put an old towel in there for her too, which she loved..BUT, she ate a hole in the middle of it, pushed her head through and got all tangled up and nearly strangled herself...so be carefull of things like that.
Enjoy your bunny, they make wonderfull pets. I miss my little Rosie girl....

Sure, but you'll have to be on top of it's litter box, otherwise your apartment will reak with such an unpleasant smell that you'd regret it.
