Okay redskin refers to the bloody scalp of Native people. So definately not okay.

Red Indians is racist because referring to skin color and just feels derogatory.

Indian isn't PC (that's where the PC part comes in) but for Some is generally accepted. Usually used within Native communities not outside of it.

Native American is the PC term but not the correct term.

If you want to use the correct term or be on the safe side say Native or Indigenous or First Nations or refer to a tribal name.

Hope this helps!
And remember it is always more compassionate to be culturally sensitive. Never know how you can impact someones life by not doing so.

Indian potential from India. Europeans were attempting to get to India at the same time as they landed contained in the recent international, the Americas...they concept they were in India and therefore stated as the natives Indians. some community human beings do call themselves Indian, and besides the undeniable fact that being Indian i don't have a particular problem with that, I do imagine it truly is somewhat stupid.

Red Indians don't like being called when they are awake. It is not PC, it just that they do not want to talk to you.

I always knew it to be a BAD term, and I don't really ever hear it used in the U.S. Usually the only people I hear/read use it are in Europe.
