I can't believe I didn't have a bladder infection a few days ago. I have had it so many times before so I know how it feels like, but this time my urine culture was negative. The antibiotic that he prescribed also worked on me....Now my doctor tells me that I have some kind of a vaginal infection and I need to be thoroughly checked. Does anyone has an idea what he might be talking about? Is there a vaginal disease which have the same symptoms as a UTI? I am almost sure the test was wrong....

He could also be talking about a condition called Interstitial Cystitis. One of the most common symptoms of IC is feeling like one has a bladder infection when there isn't one.
