I thought I found a lump and took about a month to build up the courage to see the doctor, when I finally saw the quack and explained the lump he took a look and examined me only to tell me that it was a normal lump and everything was fine, it was like a heavy burden being lifted from me, and made me realise that it is better to get it checked then to worry yourself to death about it, either way it is better to know and the doctor would rather you came quicker then later, as chances are better if it is something and they catch it quick.

Sorry to ramble on but I feel people find lumps and worry about them like I did instead of the sensible thing of getting it checked out.

Hey at least you acted upon finding it. So many people, no matter how unsure of it, do not go to the doctors, to later find it it is something. I think you did the right thing, and so will your doctor. At least you know it's safe hey?
