That sounds like something Ayn Rand would say. She believed in a government that does nothing but protect free trade without interfering (like against people who want to trade by gun instead of gold). All nations collapse some time or another. Read Jared Diamond's Collapse.

It is actually biblical too...kingdom divided within will cease to exist/Divisions within made by rules , regulations which distorting natural order called harmony. They have another name, it is conditions. If someone will put on doubts mortal philosopher, there will be difficult to doubt God, unless dismissed. Well , it won't change a course of a process in our stubborn favor, some day it will happen , unless we'll change something...That one is highly questionable with our immeasurable stupidity....
