Hello Wendy!!! You can clean your cookies and the like by going to start-control panel- network and internet connections - internet options and clean it out that way. There is a BETTER way though: download CCleaner from www.snapfiles.com or www.nonags.com, download it to your "My Downloads" section on your pc, and run it following the completion. Once the wizard opens up to put on desktop, you can run it and check to clear cookies, your history of sites visited, recently type urls, etc. and do it much easier. I'd recommend running it after you're done being on the web. It's a small app that works great! Hope this helps.

go on yahoo, set up to run the free norton scan from yahoo, clck the box for cookies and run the scan. when finished, it will list the things found, you'll have the option to remove, or to leave them. most are harmless and rate as low risk. they come from almost all sites and do nothing but take up memory and can be delted whenever you want. norton scan will explain the purpose and tell you they don't need tobe deleted but it doesn't hurt to delete them since the sites you visit will put back anyway. feel free to delete or leave them.
