Try to think deeply that the person who looks stupid may actually be talented at guitar at home. or the smart looking one may not be that great even though is looks leave that impression. or that shy kid has a uninteresting life they may be a very unique talented intelligent person some people are weak in social skills some excell in it but do porly in acadamic. I know you are probably right, but at the end of the day in the adult world, appearance counts alot.
Nobody is gonna want to see a doctor who dresses like a punk, because he/she does not look professional.
Similarly, nobody is going to employ an obese gym instructor.
Basically you have to walk the talk when you grow up.
In fact, if you look like a geek, and behave like a nerd, chances are that you would be rejected from med school first, and the biggest banks will not employ you into positions that require you to be in contact with customers.
However, I do agree that when you are in school, appearance counts for nuts. I know of a guy who appears so studious, you would think that he was just another smart guy, but guess what, he actually had a record of peeping at a female teacher in high school. Now, thats evidence to back you up.

No No one should think hat they are better than anyone else just because they dont shop at Walmart rather than the Gap. Those people are simply shallow and are not very knowledgable at figuring out that Expensive doesnt always mean its better. There is nothing wrong with Walmart clothes or anybody elses,.. as long as the clothes good enough for the person who wants to wear them that is what REALLY MATTERS. If it makes you feel good/ look good than go anywhere you want. The only diff between Gap, Ambercrombie.. stores is that you are simpley paying for a designers name. If you want to waste your money go ahead do so. Its sad... that people think that or are ASHAMED to be friends with some one just because they dress "poor" to them or are afraid of footing the bill. That person lets society run her life for her. Yes I do judge by appearance. My friends have to live up to my appearance visually. Sorry that's just how vein and stuck up I really am. I don't want a friend that is poor or looks poor because then I either have to foot the bill for them, or I have to be seen with someone who dresses from walmart or kmart...not my cup of tea dear!
