Sim city four serial?

Please don't think i'm a crimanal because i bought this game at K-mart a little while ago and now i have a plastic slip to put the game in couse i lost the cover and i got a new computer a little while ago after i lost the cover now i wanted to play it on my new computer and it told me to put in the code and i just thought OH NO. so can u please help me out here
