Nothing would be the worse thing.
If people can't think of bad things to say about you then you must not be worthy of jealousy and that would be because you lack in anything to be jealous of. Do not partake in such nonsense. Keep them wondering. They will see you at face value. If the rumor is true then it isn't a rumor.
