A bit of complacency coupled with the fact that every team that plays against them is going to bring their "A"-game with them is probably all that's wrong. And you also have to realize that the Gators are not going to "sneak up" on anyone this year - being champions puts a BIG "bulls-eye" on your jersey and invites everyone to "take their best shot" at you.

The Florida Gators are a good team like the Spurs, who generally does not do well in the regular season, but once the tournament starts, they will make some noise. The Gators were over confident during the season because they had just come off a fresh championship. They are ready again because they know they can loose now, even when they are over confident. The Gators are good, but they will loose in the tournament, they are just not good enough this year(although the team is the same, in my opinion, they got a little lucky last year)

no longer something. Yeah they lost 2 video games in a row, yet they actually looked good against LSU and would have gained that activity if it had no longer been for some 4th qtr errors. The Auburn activity they could have gained actual, yet they seem to be a youthful team and that they have discovered from it. they could have the skill to win out the remainder of their schedule from here on out. That mixed with a Tennesee loss would positioned them in the SEC championship activity, and supply them an oppurtunity to avenge their loss to LSU on a unbiased field. yet i would not problem approximately those 2 losses. Florida has a vivid destiny forward. they're very youthful, yet additionally incredibly proficient. This 3 hundred and sixty 5 days replaced into meant to be a "rebuilding 3 hundred and sixty 5 days" in case you could say that. just to supply you a concept of ways youthful the gators are there are basically 5 starters on the full team that are seniors. next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days I completely anticipate them to be competing for yet another national identify.

They play in one of the toughest conferences in the nation and coming off a national championship everyone is going to bring their A-game....factors they didn't have to deal with last season.

Plus they've played a tough stretch in the SEC. Vandy is an up and coming squad, they lost to a Tennessee team that is just now getting Chris Lofton back at full strength. Both of those teams are expected to be 8 seeds or better in the NCAA tournament. And then they go into this weekend against a Kentucky team that almost beat them in Lexington and is in a must-win situation.

I also think they put it in cruise control when they realized they've locked up a 1st round BYE in the SEC tourney and a regular season championship. You can't do that in the SEC.

Overconfidence maybe. I'm not really sure. For the most part it is the same team as last year. Maybe they just don't want to kill themselves before the tournament (SEC and NCAA). Also, I think they had a rough patch this same time last season as well. I could be wrong about this last statement. Regardless, it is VERY hard to be flawless all season long. I call this a speed bump.

nothing...teams struggle, it happens! They will still be a number 1 seed in the Tourney and go pretty deep, although i do not think they will come out on top this year.
