Get it in writing: that's the phrase lawyers live by and so should their clients. If you're unhappy with the advice, write a letter including all relevant names and dates and explain WHY you are dissatisfied. Did the lawyer do or say anything that led you to expect a certain result or procedure contrary to what occurred? Send the letter as soon as possible, retaining your own copy. If you are not satisfied with the lawyer's response, you may complain to the law society regulating lawyers in your jurisdiction. The law society will investigate to determine whether the junior deviated from the professional standard of care owed to clients and, if so, what course of action to take to remedy matters. Law societies represent the public interest so don't be shy, but DO document your concerns carefully with FACTS that explain the substance of your complaint - statements that answer W5: who, what, where, when, why and how much?

It client appoints that junior too alongwith his senior to represent the case, nothing is wrong. Seniors send junior to represent them in usual course, yet cross-examine and argue personally. If the client losts the case due to deficiency of service i.e, due to incapability of junior (not on record), he may have recourse to Consumer Protection Act. It will be a good ground for Appeal, Revision or Writ (if necessary).

There can be no rules to make one understand that long titles of qualifications and experience can not make up for the availability of time, interest and inclination as well as the requirement merits and specifics of issue in question be it with a lawyer or doctor or any other professional............
People going to super-specialists with trivial ailments just because they can afford to is commonest example................
