Period has NEVER been late, but is a week late with negative pregnancy test. Could there be any other reason?

Took test 1st day of missed period. Have extremely tender breasts and have had cramps for the past week and a half. Usually only have them at the most 2 days before I actually start

your period can be late for any reason most obvious is pregnancy but if you already took a test and it was negative then wait a couple of days and try again if not that then stress weight loss or gain or any medication your taking could affect it. good luck

Yes there are other reasons it could be late . stress is one of them and a cold also. give it a week and then go see your Doctor he would now best . I was late and that was what they told me but then they found out it was (andometreeous) I don't no how to spell it sorry It is sores on the walls of the womb

it is still possible u could be pregnant. home tests can be wrong (especially if they are close to expiration date) take another test. also if the test was not one that is for 1st day of missed period. some are not that sensitive. Good Luck!!
