This is like the third vacuuming pantyhose q here this month... is this some kind of fetish?? Otherwise it's a strange q... surely whatever gets stuck wherever, the obvious option is to try and remove it. What exactly would your reasoning be behind NOT getting them out? If you vac up your anything else, such as extension wires, sox, or your pet's tail, would you think twice about getting those out?? Or would you leave your cat connected to the vac for a week while you got a consensus on what to do?

If they went all the way through just leave them no use in making a mess. Besides the hose is torn up if it did go through.

get them out. they could "clog" your vacuum and then ur gonna have to go in there in the mess and untangle it..not fun.

get them out asap as they can clog the intake filtering if it is a bagless cleaner, or leave them if its a bag type
