My friend said that there was 2 creators of Final fantasy.
He says the one that created 1-9 moved to Xbox360 and there was a new guy that made 10-12 (and possibly 13 for ps3). And the one that moved to 360 created Lost Planet. Is all this true?

I don't know, but definitely check Wikipedia. Do a search for 'Final Fantasy'. That will give you the names of the creators. Then, click on the links to the creator's pages, and check their bio's. Good Luck~!

That may be tue but realize that after Final fantasy 7 that the company split into 2 groups. There is the even team and the odd team so while one team is working on say 8 at the time, the whole time 9 was being worked on too so that they are not huge gaps between games.

I'm not sure about all of them, but no, they did not move to xbox, one of the designers from 7 and up is named Tetsuya Nomura, he was first Character designer for VII but became director in later games, but he did not have any affiliation with 12, because he's been working on Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+
