**All have something in common about the color purple which was my mother's birthstone (amethyst). Plus I have cherokee indian in me and I'd like to stick with nature sounding first and/or middle names. Any other suggestions welcomed.
*Alexandrites are usually a bluish green but can be found in purple.

I LOOOOOVE those names. I am a big fan of unusual yet still pronouncable names. I also love the color purple, and my birth stone is the alexandrite. Never would have thought to use it as a name! Cool idea!

Hello. I personally like Amethyst Lake, or as another member suggested, Amethyst Skye would be really pretty! I don't care for Nicole Alexandrite. Violet blaze is okay, but I think Amethyst is the best one! I love that name!!!! LaDora

I like Amethyst and Violet Blaze; don't care for the Lake part. I could possible suggest Amethyst Dawn, Alexandrite Nicole, Mauve Lillian, Violet Rose, Lily Violet?
