Honestly I don't care what people think of me, but I still get called these things sometimes. It is true that I may be naive at times, but I don't believe I'm "innocent" at all... The only thing is I'm 18 and sometimes some of my friends drink , smoke and swear and stuff and I don't really, but it's not like I dissaprove of them. So should they reject me? I do have my values and that's all, so why does some people today have to label people as these things? The names arent' really a big deal to me, it's just when they sound like I'm below them or inexperienced or something. It's not that I'm a sealed up bubble, I just choose not to do these things. Why is it that this as viewed as close minded, goody goody etc. etc.?

I'm eighteen and I have never smoked, had sex or had a single alcoholic drink and my friends don't taunt me at all..its all about the people you surround yourself with, if they make fun of you and your values they are not true friends. Some people are just jealous of us and our goodness. Good luck!

Girl I give more power to you, I also get called a goody goody and innocent I don't smoke/drink I am actually impressed your 18 and not giving into pure pressure.. I am about to be seventeen in a few days and I plan on staying smoke free and alcohol free until I am atleast old enough to try these things... but I will probly never smoke but maybe drink on special occasion birthdays etc.

its just sometimes people think that if youre too good that there is something fake about it
but its alright that you dont give in to peer pressure, youre right for not drinking and smoking just because others are doing it
its always good to be true to who you are.

Ignore the ignorant ones dear! They are afraid of you. They are intimidated by you. They see purity and it makes them see their own dirt.
Find better people to hang around. And be GLAD that you are no like them.
