Hmmm.. apon reading your question I first thought that it could simply just odd fish behavior. Which is not uncommon when you have different types of fish with different needs. I don't know how you have your tank/bowl set up but if you don't already you should make sure that you have a decent amount of plants (real or artificial) and hiding spots (ie. caves, rocks, sunken ship, etc.).

Also, do you have an air pump in your tank and do you also have a water testing kit that tests for nitrites, amonia etc.? The odd behaviours of your fish could also be a sign of stress on your fish. One culprit of stressing fish out is gold fish!!

This is because gold fish are whether fish. This means that they can be outside and live pretty much year round. Your other fish are tropical fish and should have a regulated temperature constantly (between 72 and 78 deg.). The reason that gold fish can accidently lead to the death of other fish is because they are one of the dirtiest fish you could find. Since they have so much waste, they directy effect the toxic levels in the aquarium (higher amonia and nitrate levels).

A few solutions. One, seperate the gold fish from the rest of the fish.

Two. change the water often (about 20% per change and maybe 75% every three months) and don't over feed.

Three. Live plants are natural medicine men to an aquarium. Be warned that gold fish love to nibble on plants.

Four. Take a good look at your fish and make sure you don't see little white spots (ick) that look like grains of salt. When fish have ick they will girate against surfaces to scrath sort of speek. If you see spots go to your local pet store and get some ick treatment.

Ok, hopefully some of this answers your questions.

Good luck

Well, this behavior is normal. The shark is mostly nocturnal, resting up and eating as it will later. They can also be very territorial. The other two are just schooling. Tetras do this for the reason of safety in numbers. Usually, tetra are sold in groups of 3 or 5. Odd numbers are best, so there is always a leader.
This is nothing to worry about and nothing unusual. Just keep your fish healthy, fed and the right water conditions-you're set! Good luck.

yes, there is a problem with these three.

Goldfish should only be kept with goldfish. they produce tons or waste, and are not tropicals. they need 20gallons of water to themselves.

tetras need to be kept in groups because they are schooling fish, so really no less than 4.

what kind of shark?
how big in the tank?
filter?
water levels (pH, ammonia, nitrates, nitrites)?
did you cycle the tank?

my guess right now without knowing more is the tetra is lonely and probably suffering from ammonia poisoning from being with the goldfish.

I don't really know what you're talking about, but as long as they're not biting each other I wouldn't worry about it.
