Well, I did find pure love. Before I met her, I was basically settling for less. I think most people settle for someone easy to find or meet. I met her by by fate and the funny thing is, I met her through by playing a computer game. Who would have guessed? I say don't ever stop looking for real and unconditional love. I knew I found unconditional love when I first realized that I just wanted her happiness even if that was not with me. What was even better was when I realized she had the same kind of love for me. And yes, I did marry her and although it's not always a bed of roses, knowing that I'm with my true love just makes anything else bearable.
p.s. I agree with Wizard of the East, love is all giving. If you get it back, then that's true love.

My only suggestion is taking a good look at your choices in men. While you are right in saying different people are looking for different values in a mate. You have to seek out the man that will value the same as you.
I am like you unconditional real love is what I seek in a mate. I don't give a damn about money so much. Over the years I made sure I knew how to identify this value in a woman. Communication is our best skill in helping to discover our potential mate's core value system.

Meaning of love depends upon the expectation which have. It will vary from person to person. Unconditional love never suffers. You only suffer if you are expecting something in return and do not get it. Do we ever feel that God does not love us though U R not getting anything in returns.
Follows this Quote " If U luv something set it free, If it comes back to U it is yours - if not- it was never meant to be." - Cheer UP !!!!!

Because people are not courageous enough to face the truth. They want to lead an easy life for which it is easy to support untruth. Following truth is not an easy task for which high risk one has to take. That is why you have to suffer a lot while travelling on the way of truth.Be patient you will find success because at last the victory goes to truth only.

Real love was first described in the book "Tristan and Yseult"
It is a romantic exponation of love without all the fears and jalousy.
Real lovers do not suffer, if they do it is because the real love is for themselves not for the other.
I have a little puppy labrador sleeping at my feet right now...i got real love from him, unconditional regardless of what i look like, feel like, smell like, he just love me the way I am all the time..and I love him the same way. I want him happy and well, this is real love.

I have been married to my husband for 27 years. When we first got married i was truely in love he treated me like a husband should, but as the years went on we drifted apart. He even sleeps in another bedroom (his idea) after my open heart surgery
Love is a strange thing I still love him but i am not in love with him
There is a big difference. I thought we would be in love forever like my parents they have been happily married for 52 years( i don't know how) he is so spoiled by my mom he doesn't have to lift a finger. It"s hard to explain?

True love can be hard to find, and you have to be vulnerable and open-hearted to find it. I can tell you though, it's worth all the pain and suffering, when you find it. My husband and I were hurt so much until we found each other, and our love and awareness of how easy it is to hurt keeps us good to each other, generous with our hearts and all we can give to each other. Good luck, True happiness can only be found with true love...
