Is there any thing I can put in the washer to keep the grease and all from getting on my clothes. When I do my laundry at the laundry mat. The washer's still have grease from previous uses. And it messes up my clothes. I live in an apartment so I have to use the laundry mat.

Ugh, I remember the days... been there, done that, No fun!

I couldn't stand the thought of putting *my* clothes in with all those germs and God knows what, and from *who* in the washing machine. Despite all the funny looks, I carried a bottle of Lysol Disinfesting Kitchen Cleaner and a roll of paper towels down to the laundry room, and cleaned out each and every washer (and sometimes the dryer too!) before I put my clothes in. After you see what comes off on the paper towel, you will probably NEVER go without a good wipe down again. ;oP~

Of course ANY cleaner is better than nothing, but the main thing I looked for is the words "anti-bacterial" and of course get a no bleach product. You wouldn't wanna discolor any of your clothes by accident.

Good luck, and happy laundry day! ;o)

Yup ...you probably have lots of people that just are piggy.
When I had to wash at a Laundry mat I just dumped a can of coke in with the first load in each machine you use for the day.
Its a secret that all the degreasing company's hope we never learn. Coke eats grease and leaves your clothes alone.
Then in your rinse cycle...use as little Downy as you can get away with. sometimes its your overuse of softener that can make your clothes feel kinda gooey ! Your good stuff....wash in the kitchen sink....hang or iron dry. good luck.. I wish someone would have told me this, lol !
