Infection related to moisture and buildup of organisms. Wash your bb really good, use a q-tip (or several) and make sure to clean it out well (it will probably be red after but thats okay). Dry it with a paper towel, blotting it well and do that a couple times a day and then every time you take a shower make sure to scrub and rinse it out. Don't wad up the paper towel and twist it around because the fibers break off and you'll end up with paper and organisms in there. Dry and clean is the key.

Sounds like a yeasty infection. Wash well with soap and water and use an antifungal cream.
