If I was your husband if you did this without discussing It first I would automatically make you take the damn kitten back end of story. I hate these type of actions. Do it behind my back and expect me to say well it's here so keep it. No way it would go down like that. I wouldn't do it to you so don't do this to me.

He is your husband so you know him better than anyone. But this was not a fair thing to do in relationship.

You have bigger issues with your marriage that you are not dealing with. You need to sit down and work with your husband on your problems. Not fair to your husband or the kitten either. No animal should ever be brought into a home where someone doesn't want it.

You probably should have mentioned to him that you were going to get it, but since you already have it he should be told the truth - the very thing you said on here. If he cares about you, and I'm sure he does, he will not raise a stink. If he does, it might be time to figure out what is really going on in the relationship.

Hell probably love the kitten anyway. You really needed some couples counseling because you two are not communicating and working things out to a happy resolution.

Enjoy meow meow

of course not. as long as you don't stick the responsibility of caring for your kitten on other people in the house, then not at all. if you explain to him that you feel lonely being by yourself when the kids and him aren't around, i don't see why he would have a problem with it. after all, pets help relieve stress and help you live longer. having a pet will bring good energy to your house.

Yes and No. You should have talked to him about it first. It is a big decision and essentially sort of changes everyones life if even just a little bit, however you seem to have good reason to want one and hopefully you can get him to understand.

Of course it's totally ok...He'll understand, well,he have to. I know how it gets lonely when everyone is gone and you have to stay home alone... That's why I asked for a dog ^_^...

Name it something "manly". Put it in his lap and make him pet it sooner or later he'll either grow indifferent or learn to love it !

I certainly will not fault you for this. I have done it. He will get used to it. Enjoy your little pet.
