(k the next bit is a rant like thing that i had sent to the newspaper...its not intended to rant at you k? "wink" im just tired & cold & dont feel like "de-ranting" it so i just copy & pasted it out of my sent email folder...lol but it gives my thoughts on this subject quite clearly)

"""I had bought a paper just before this play start that had an Equus pic of Mr; Radcliff & read the article. Ap"parent"ly, some are appalled by the nude scene & are not going to let their kids watch the last HP movies if he's in them.

To quote the words of Al Gore, "Well that's just the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of!" Do they not know that Equus & Harry Potter are 2 VERY different projects not related to each other at all? Do they not know that Mr. Radcliffe is NOT the first actor from the Harry Potter movies, or actress for that matter, to have nude scenes? (And technically, it's not quite his first if one considers the bath scene in Goblet Of Fire.) In fact, nearly every other actor/actess has already been there, done that, from Ian Hart (Pro. Quirrel) & Alan Rickman (Pro. Snape) to Michael Gambon (Dumbledore...second edition after Richard Harris) & David Thewlis (Pro. Lupin) (So no more Black Beauty either if they go by that theory & don't ever have a black horse to represnt good ol' Beauty cuz I'm sure that stallion has done a few mares himself. Ginger anyone?)

People need to know that Daniel Radcliffe is an actor just like the next person in the Harry Potter movies. Every actor or actress eventually has at least one nude scene under in their career. (Even Clemence Poesy who portrays the character Fleur De Lacour in Goblet Of Fire.) So really, if one is so worried about an actor/actress going nude in scenes, they'd best stop watching TV altogether. They're all nude somewhere on screen, remember?

People also need to realize that Mr. Radcliffe isn't a child anymore. In Britain, they're legal by 16. He's 17, nearly 18. Daniel Radcliffe is a young man, not a kid. And like every actor/actress should, he's trying to break out of the stereotype of the Harry Potter character. Families need to spend more time together & sit down with their children & explain to them the facts of Hollywood. Look up the histroy of favorite Hollywood figures online. Read biographies.

Get used to it already...""""

hope it gets printed...lol

FUNNY! Lol. I shall never look at Harry Potter the same way again.

He's definetley breaking away from his image...but then again he's an actor, and if he wants to remain an actor after that whole Harry Potter deal, then he's going to have to...bend ... a little out of that "little-boy" image.

Quite a way to break away from the "Hey! thats Harry Potter!" At least he's breaking the mold now. I guess as long as he's thought about it and is comfortable. I don't really see any damage.
