Can't figure the solution to this equation:?

V=-3

add 6v to each side to get the v's on one side, then you have 1v=-3

Test your answer by plugging it back into the equation. I get

-5 = -6 -3 or
-5 = -9

So 1 is not the answer. Try again and watch the minus signs.
