Of the original Jackson Five, no he was not. He joined at a later time, briefly. The original Jackson Five were- Michael, Marlon, Jermaine, Tito and Jackie. Any other Randy Jackson is not related to the Jackson Family that you are talking about.

I think there is a Randy Jackson in the family, but not the one from American Idol. Personally, i wonder if there's any relation to Samuel L. Kind of reminds me of him.
