we have been friends for a long time and she is a christion and so am i i do not want to hurt her feelings bc they get hurt really bad what can i say to her.

I'm a Christian too and your Reverand or Preacher will help u to
figure this situation out. It's hard to say quit telling me what to do
but what else can u say. There are some very helpful answers on this list of anwers so Good Luck and God Bless You and her i will pray for you and that's another thing you need to do is pray and ask God to Help u with the right words to say to her and He will help u!!!!!!!!!

Ask her if she likes to be bossed around if her answer is no ask her why she thinks you do? If it effects you that bad don't hang out with her so much. Question does she just give you helpful advice or does she expect you to do as she says and gets cranky when you don't follow her instructions?
You can stand up for yourself without trampling over every body you know just be tactful and firm but kind. Good luck

You should talk to her straight up. You say something like, "Hey................, let me try to tackle this problem my way. If I fail, can I come to you for help? " Always tell her that you want to do things your way but don't let her feel excluded. Tell her that if you need help you'll call her. And do call her one or two times.
