I was wondering if you would have any answers to the reason my stock Vl modified to a turbo stalls on deccelaration ?
Im pretty sure I no why it's stalling when the throttle is taken off but Im not sure how to fix it.

Basically the car has been modified to turbo and to accomodate for this the IAC valve which is normally connected by a rubber hose to the rocker cover as been blocked off and the rocker cover is venting to atmosphere via a small air filter. So basically the car is idling off the throttle and not the IAC, when I bought the car it was already like this and I was not exactly sure how to fix it, so that the car was idling of the IAC.
I no I can plumb the IAC into the air filter piping infront of the turbo but this means I will have to get attachments welded on. I was wondering if I can simply just remove the rocker cover air filter and plumb the IAC valve back into the rocker cover as it was origionally or will this effect the tur

I would put it back as close to factory as possible, if that means welding, then so be it
