win 95 operating sys really hard to find nowadays. f u have a friend that having a win 95 well better to borrow it. Den try to reinstall or repair using that disk. but b4 u reinstall, u must back up ure data first for sure u wont b able to lose ure files after installing win 95. maybe this will not work bcoz uve alrdy format the drive c; formatting a drive it s like u delete all files on ure drive. not unless u have another partitioned drive that all of ure documents are saved on that partitioned drive.

f u dont have the win 95, try win98 SE..it is already bootable disk.
u dont need no more the ms dos disk. bcoz it has its own..
it will run automatically if u configure it to the bios, on a booting configuration. then follow all the instruction....

but...b4 doing diz, if u do.

try to find a technician or a friend technxn..to check up first ure laptop. its better to be sure...

You will need to find a friend with a Windows 95 or 98 disk. I strongly recommend using 98 as it is much better than 95. Now is also the time to buy a bigger harddrive if the previous one is too small. You probably will not be able to use anything larger than 8GByte. You can buy a 10GByte and throw away the rest. Hopefully your laptop has a CD Drive and can boot from that drive to reinstall the operating system. Otherwise you will need to find the floppies for 95 or 98 and reinstall from that.

If you are looking for someone to help it would be usefull to know approximately where you are located.

Find a copy of windows 98 and install it on the laptop! Other than that there isn't much you can do with it except use it for a door stop

You're going to have to try to find a disc. Or even a cracked download on whatever other computer you use then burn it to CDD and then you can try to unformat and get the old stuff back using http://www.easeus.com/datarecoverywizard/faq/technical-faq08.htm

Really once you format it erases everything so right now there's no operating system. Getting it to start without a System disc is next to impossible.

Try ebay for a copy of the full version of Windows 98SE...not the upgrade version, but the full version. Below is a link to an example.
