Wishful thinking, perhaps?
Regardless, you are probably just having break-through bleeding [very common side effect of some bc pills] vs. implantation bleeding [very rare and very minimal.]

Implantation bleeding is a tiny bit of spotting at the time that the embryo implants into the uterus. It usually occurs approximately 7 days after conception, which is typically about 7 days before you expect to get your next period.

Implantation bleeding is not a reliable sign of pregnancy. Most women who are pregnant never have implantation bleeding. Furthermore, many women who have what appears to be implantation bleeding are not pregnant

(PS the only way to tell for sure if you are pregnant is to go to have a test done.)

No, that sounds like a side effect of the pills. Did you take them at a different time than you did the previous three days? The pills are supposed to trick your body into thinking it's pregnant so you can't get pregnant "again", but a preg test will tell you. Just make sure you take the pills EVERY day and at the same time each day to keep your body on track and you'll have nothing to worry about.

Implantation bleeding is really light. It can be an early sign of pregnancy, but your pill could also cause abnormal bleeding. You might want to check with your dr just to be safe.
