if and after i get this car (this weekend) i was thinking of just going to the junk yard and picking up an old acura symbol and put back there, so really the paint job doesnt really need to be that good or do u think the symbol will just cover up that empty spot??

i own a shop, and you might get lucky enough that the symbol might cover the majority of this, you can go to any advance auto parts and get the touch up paint they,ll know how to match it up by the paint code off the car,you could paint that small area, and the emblem would probably cover the rest of it,the older emblems were a little bigger any way so it might cover all of it,its worth a try, good luck with it,hope this help,s.

Touch up paint can be bought at a dealership but should only be used to touch up edges, corners. To use it on flat surfaces with the brush ya get with the bottle usually results in the touch-up looking worse than the empty spot. The emblem (like most on today's cars has an adhesive that holds it on the car. I would go to the dealer and get one cause a junkyard would just peel it off the same way he thief did and won't stick very well . So get some adhesive cleaner and a new emblem and clean the spot well before putting the new one on

You'd be better off buying a replacement symbol.

You can find what you need on ebay, other websites or at the dealer.

I wouldn't go the junkyard or the touchup paint route. But you can find the paint at any auto parts store.

Why dont you just get another badge, you would be crazy to use touch up paint as you will see it from miles away. A badge will probaly cost the same as paint, be it new or second hand
