limewire and the torrent sites will have a good selection....
i prefer the dc++ network hubs though. little more advanced protocol but well worth the effort

There are not many free 'legal' mp3 songs found on the Internet. Most of them, including mp3 songs downloaded from Limewire, are illegal.
These days, indie singers, groups and labels put their mp3 songs on the Internet for exposure. These mp3 songs are free and legal.

i can only assume that you mean "legal free mp3's"
that being said, the web isn't the best place to find mp3's. you will need to download a free client for the gnutella or bit torrent network. best bet is to look on download.com

ps Limewire and Morpheus are ok but use some antivirus software cos its a 50/50 as to what you will get... scammers are everywhere these days!

go to this site [cnet.com] the download [limewire.com], install it then browse your music you want, and if you want to convert it into smaller files find [audiograbber.com] this software is good, it can convert your mp3 into smaller mp3 files. trust me... gud luck

you can download free music from limewire but i would go against that.I installed limewire 2week ago then when i uninstalled the program was attack my no end of virurses.still getting rid of them now.but its up to you {youv been warned}
