I have received 5 or 6 text messages in the last two weeks. They were unsolicited and I did not reply. However, I discovered today that I was charged £1.50 for each text SENT to me. I have sent the "stop" message to them but I want my money back. I have emailed them to informthem of the situation and that I want a refund, and that I have requested itemised billing for each text message from my mobile phone services provider. Does anyone know which law this kind of thing would come under so that I can quote it to back up my argument and claim?!

Sorry to hear of your misfortune, I had something similar happen to me. I kept receiving screen savers - even though I'd sent the STOP text to them. Sure enough they did it several times. Fortunately, I was on pay as you go, I just went out and got a new sim. (the 02 do some good deals on payg). It solved it.

Its principals though. Good luck fighting them!

With Verizon it prices you 15 cents in line with textual content message despatched or recieved and 25 cents in line with image/video message despatched or recieved. you'll in effortless words get charged in case you open the message. So in case you do not pick to pay do not open the message. in case you sense you'd be recieving or sending an stronger quantity of messages there's a cheap $5 textual content kit of 250 messages in line with month.
