My grandmother's name was Joyce, but I also want to update that, so is Quincee Jo, or Quinnlyn Jo better? Or are these names a little tooo weird?

Quinn is actually a bi-sexual name.
Irish Gaelic Wise and intelligent. A boy or girl's name.
In addition to that according to the book Baby Names of the World Quinn is both a German and English name the means queen. I personnally like Quinn so much better, yet to each his own.

I like Quinnlyn better. I actually was planning on suggesting that as soon as I read the question, before I read the additional information. Quincee makes me think of Quincy Jones, a musician who I don't like at all. Also, it doesn't sound nearly as feminine as Quinnlyn does.

Quincee Jo is the better of the two. An alternative spelling might be Quinci Jo. Also to consider: Joss Quinlyn, Joslyn Quincee, Josi Quinn.

I like Quincee but not Quinnlyn. It sounds like crinoline but with a lisp. I think Joyce is a beautiful name. If you think it is a little dated, keep it as Joyce but as a middle name.

Here is a site with a bunch of variations of Quinn http://names.yuly.ru/female-i-name-38876.htm

and for Joyce

First off, I believe there's no name that's too weird I have a different name and it makes a great conversation starter. For the most part people will think its pretty and neat! How about these names for a try Quinesha, Quinetta, Quinshawna, Quintara, Quintrelle/Quintella, Quintura, Quintaysha. I hope you like some of those names!
