When you are having your period you lose alot of blood and because of this you are more tired and tend to sleep more. Also, ask you doctor to perform a blood test to see if you have iron defiency anemia which is the most common anemia among girls. I have it and a number of my friends as well. Don't worry it just means that your body has less iron than it should, and your doctor might prescribe a both of iron pill which should give you more energy to open up a bag of potato chips. take care ;)

It's possible you have an iron deficiency or anemia, which can cause major fatigue and weakness during your period. I had a friend in middle school (and a cousin) who had the exact same thing happen to her, and she started to take an iron supplement, and it helped her a lot. Combine it with vitamin C to aid absorption, and also take a good B-complex supplement. These will all help you out a LOT. You should also make an appointment with your dr (maybe even a gynecologist--it's actually the better option) for an evaluation and blood work while on your next cycle, to rule out endometriosis and other female "problems."

When you are on your period you are low on iron from losing blood, and this can cause tiredness and weakness. And yes, PMS is very normal and something that most women go through. It is not cancer or anything bad. If you get that tired and weak during your period I would suggest talking to your doctor about possibly taking vitamins/ Iron pills. I will post a link to a site about PMS.

It's totally normal!! You don't have cancer or anything awful like that! Don't even worry about it, you will get used to it eventually, I promise! It will probably get better with time too, mine did, it was so long ago though I don't remember how long. It is normal to not feel well and feel weak. Just take a nap if you feel tired, eat healthy foods and avoid cafinated drinks like soda and coffee- they can make your cramps worse and make you feel bloated. Don't worry about it though, you will be fine and get used to how you're feeling.

It's prolly just PMS. I'm a 6th grader and for gym, we had to take a health/puberty unit. I didn't hear about being weak with PMS but being cramped up, bloated, fatigued, and lazy I guess. I haven't had my period yet so I don't what to tell you but hope you feel better!

Totally normal. This is just because when you have your period you are losing blood, and that makes you tired. If you loose too much it's called anemia and you might want to see a doctor, but you shouldn't be worried it happens to everyone! =0)
