i'd like to live to at least be 60. if i die any sooner, i won't be ready.

60 is actually really young, hun. My husband's parents waited till later in life to have him, so they are 52 and 56 now and to me they don't look or act like it, they're more like 40-45, and I can't imagine either one of them dying any time soon. I don't want to set an age for myself, but more like a state of mind or a state of health. If my body is breaking down and life is miserable because of it and I'm trapped in a nursing home, then I'd rather pass, but who knows what age I'll be. But if my health is good and my mind has gone, maybe to Alzheimer's or Dementia or both, then I'd also rather pass on. Also, I don't know if I could live without my husband. We've only been married for 4 years in June, but we always talk about what it'll be like when we're really really old, sitting next to each other holding hands and bi***ing about the young whippersnappers, but if we were to make it to a really old age together and then he suddenly passes on, I'd probably die of a broken heart.

The women in my family die old. My great grandma was 94. My grandma will be 93 in July and is still alive. I don't know if I want to live to be that old, but it looks like that is what is coming. My mom is in her 60s and still going strong, too.

I hope I have another 20 or so to go yet..so around 70 ..or 80 I guess..

80 i dont want to live to be so old that I cant take care of myself but i dont want to die young!

75 or 80. i don't think i could handle being one of those who live to be 100 plus. good luck.
