I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks on December 15th, 2006. We started trying a few weeks after that. I still haven't conceived and we have been even trying make sure we do it on the ovulation days and everything. Could something be wrong too?

How long should a woman wait after a miscarriage before attempting another pregnancy?
A woman should not attempt to become pregnant again until she is physically and emotionally ready and she has completed any tests recommended to determine the cause of the miscarriage. Medically, it appears safe to conceive after a woman has had one normal menstrual cycle (if she is not undergoing tests or treatments for the cause of her miscarriage). However, it may take much longer before a woman feels emotionally ready to attempt pregnancy.

Many women who have experienced miscarriage worry that they will miscarry again. Fortunately, the great majority of women who have had one miscarriage will go on to have a successful pregnancy the next time, as will 60 to 70 percent of those who have experienced two or three losses.

(I also know it is recomended to not get pregnant for 3 months.)

This exact situation happened to me and my wife. We had our miscarriage and then she began to track the best days to try. My wife is more religious than myself and she stated that after 8 or 9 months of all her efforts, she was not going to worry about it any more and she put it in god's hands. She then became pregnant and now we have a beautiful baby girl going on 19 months. Due to this situation,I feel that she is a special child, she was meant to be. I think it is possible to want something so bad that you actually make it harder to happen. She was very concerned for the longest time that she could not get pregnant again. She told me that she threw her hands in the air and gave up. two months later she was pregnant. Do not give up, it may take some time and things are meant to be the way they are. When the time is right, it will happen. Good luck, I know what you are going through. Hang in there and don't over try.

Firstly, I am so sorry for you and your loss.
I too lost my baby at 10 weeks, mid February. I had to have a 'suction evacuation' to clean out my tubes because he had no heartbeat/wasn't developing. This is the only thing that is keeping me going and keeping me positive because at least now I have had a 'bit of a clean out' down there, and now I know there isn't any blockages or anything. I was actually booked in for a similar procedure because we weren't pregnant after 12 months. I don't know if this is the same with you, but may be something worth investigating because my Obstetrician said that if I had of miscarried naturally he still would have performed the same procedure.
I will send positive thoughts your way and hopefully it will help me too - Good luck!

I am sorry about your miscarriage.

For me, I got pregnant a few months after a miscarriage (which resulted in another miscarriage). Its important for your body to heal and get back to normal.

Your body might just be telling you its not ready yet. Please give it some more time before you think something is wrong.

Good Luck and I hope it happens for you soon.

Give your body and soul some time to recover. Most doctors would have you wait at least 6 months to a year before attempting to conceive.
