Take Pepto-Bismol along, follow all the rules about drinking bottled water, watch the food etc, etc. Having said that, we're not always as careful as we should be.

I always say that I do testimonials for Pepto-Bismol. My hubby used to get sick everywhere... Southern California, Texas, not to mention points beyond. We've taken Pepto-Bismol along as a preventive for tourista for years, and it works. I'm so enthusiastic here's our page on that: http://www.mousetourstravels.com/pepto-bismol.html

Buy bottled water and don't eat anything from street vendors.
