i would stay with the boat and weigh out the storm and keep jugs and bottles out while it rained to catch a few extra days of water, your body can live w/o food for awhile just keep it hydrated, then i would try n catch fish if at all possible to help with food source then pray to GoD coast guard or someone found my boat.

If I can't move the boat I'd wait one or two days then start swimming for it too.

I would stay in the boat.
If the Coast Guard or any other vessel were to come along, they'd find you (alive?) in the boat.

I would sit in the boat and use my hands to attempt to paddle around and then whichever came first: a boat or land I would jsut go to it.

You stand a better chance in the boat than out of it.

No way... I'm staying in the boat... More likely to be spotted... AND I'm not a strong swimmer... my cutlass pulls me down...
