A 30-30 is a rifle shell. Everyone makes them. They are used for lever action "Cowboy-style" rifles. They have blunt tips because they line up in the magazine and a sharp tip would hit the primer. The 150 refers to the grain in the 30-30 shell. I have boxes and boxes of Winchester 30-30s.

30-30 shell with 150 grain.
