well, I like buying Cd's and my favorite one now is the:
Blood Brothers "Young Machetes".....its really good, I don't know how to classify them, cause they can play any genre. You'll think they're really strange in the beginning, but you'll forget it cause' they're really good. Buy it or suffer the joy.
This band isn't pop/rock, listen to them and you'll know.

I had a great CD collection when our house burned down last year and lost it all. Since then I have bought most of my music from the internet, because it is much cheaper than trying to rebuild a collection that burned in a few minutes. I have, however, bought a couple of my favorite CD's, ones that I like all of the songs on.

For me, I just purchased a 3 CD Set of the Best of the London Symphony Orchestra -- Mozart, Bach, Beethoven compositions. Have enjoyed these while working on the computers in my Website Design/Development and Digital Photography Classes ... really inspires me to produce really good efforts!
It is SO difficult to find good music like this in the stores ... so when I found this set in (of all things -- the DISCOUNT BIN!) I just HAD to get the set!

Just bought Iron Maiden - no prayer for the dying. It came out in 1990 I believe and is a classic maiden album. There are some amazing guitar solos and songs to rock out to. The no prayer for the dying track is one where bruce dickinson croons in a power ballad type song. If you love power metal with the emotional lead vocal you'll love this album.

Saturday I bought the CD Three Generations The Legend Lives On.
Michael & Tre Twitty (Conway Twitty's son and grandson)
I went to their concert. They were good. Tre sounded more like Conway in my opinion.

Ever since MTV monopolized the music industry, great albums are unnecessary.
Today, all the kids need is one song from a boring album. The one single song from the album gets a video made for it and now the kid's can LOOK at their music.
MTV killed (pop) music.

Pink Floyd- Atom Heart Mother
If you like a little weirdness in your music, this is the ultimate album from Pink Floyd. It has trumpets, a band manager cooking breakfast, and many more unique traits.
I like it, anyway.
