Yes, and I was very wrong to do that. It doesn't work. I had to learn on my own why I would be with a person that I wanted to change in the first place.

No. To change someone for my benefit is selfish. However, if they are coming to me to help them change (ie break a habit) sure, I will help them through it.

its called Manipulation. and its practically instinctual for Humans you're just not willing to admit it to yourselves. remember that voice you used to use on your mom or gramma when you wanted something bad its the same thing just on a different level. yes i have and ive done it knowingly. it worked except that i have to live with that knowledge.

we all have . when u date someone or marry someone you always try to give and if its the right someone they will give also. so in sense you are changing them and you are changing as well

yeah, but it didn't work out for me. to change a person for their or your benefit, they have to know that there's something wrong with them and NO ONE likes to be told there's something wrong with them!
