Of course, but its only because a numerical majority hasn't been established. Take the United States for example. Muslims are a minority religious group and they are all about peace and tolerance, but it is because of there lack of numbers and leadership in the American government that they tolerate us. Then you head to Sudan, Saudi, Syria, where the Muslims are the majority and they start talking about Jihad and striking heads and such because their leaders, political and religious preach it to them, even the children. The founder of Islam, Muhammed, not only condoned the killing of infidels, but participated in it and that is who the Imams and Clerics in Middle Eastern countries shape themselves after, the Meccan verses of the Quaran, and here we see the peaceful Medinan verses.
I know many Muslims, and have many friends that are, but I still have my opinion...

Please correct me if I am wrong about any, as I am only human. Now when you see a comparison, isn't it difficlut to blame Islam or all Muslims or Muslim countries? Doesn't it make you re-think some things?and about verses so they are just taken out of context even by muslims themselves.....those terrorists don't understand the actual islam ! I would also consider the role of some ignorant imams in this regard who have done a great damage to islam..........But would just say don't judge islam from muslims. and Btw there is worse examples of terrorism in other religions but generalizing it to only muslim community is not fair....Hitler is always mentioned as Hitler and not as a christain but Osama is highlighted with islamic verses.....now see who is doing wrong.........ofcourse media ! its hopeless ! and also who has imposed war on Iraq , Afghanistan and palestine and now trying to impose on Iran with bogus excuses?? christains and jews !!! but still muslims are blamed.......wow wht a justice !!

I cant' believe an ordinary citizen of the USA who seems to be well-educated can ask such a racist question ?
I am French, I live in Paris, I am Christian, there are 6millions Muslims in my country and they are all very peaceful. They accept the French laws, inspired by our Christian traditions and they practice their own religion without trying to kill us !!!
I should also add that the Muslims can be much nicer by their customs than us, Catholics. They have a better tradition of hospitality and they are more open-minded and sincere most of the time with strangers.
You probably have big prejudices because you watch too much 24 and FoxNews but come in France and you will see that the Muslims love democracy and freedom sometimes more than we do.
That's also why I tend to support American's efforts in the Middle East because I know for sure that the Muslims can live peacefully and democraticaly, provided we give them this chance.

And we Christians don't condone killing? Then what were the Crusades, if not a Christian jihad? Likewise, Manifest Destiny, one of the ideas present throughout the birth and maturing of our country, seems to support the fundamentalist our-way-is-the-right-way idea that scorns others. Our religion as a whole is just as guilty as theirs - we just don't have recent standout events to support it. Indeed, the pushing of democracy on the Middle East even supports arguments that we are not the all-tolerant peaceseekers we claim to be.

I know many - and I mean many Muslims- 99.999% are peaceful. But that leaves a lot of hot head Muslims out there still.

if you're going to tout an opinion, educate yourself first. Islam is a religion of peace, try reading the quran, learning a bit before assuming a few radical groups that hold power in some unfortunate places are the true muslims.

No they are not peace loving people. They are full of hate and despair. There goal is to rule the world. They would just as soon lop your head off as to look at you, go over there and see how many muslims love you.
