I'm 25 with normal to dry and a bit sensitive skin. I don't want to start too early but not too late eather! A dermatologist I asked said that the use of products is useless and can cause saggyness.. Have you heard of that?

WHAT!!! that's bull! we are forever ageing, so you should start now. There are so many things that cause us to get dehydrated and wrinkle up, so you need to protect your skin. as long as you're not pulling your skin harshly every day putting on your cremes, you won't sag.
and SPF is very important....but make sure you get one that's meant for your face because it clogs pores.

I started using a mild firming cream (Avon dramatic firming cream) in my mid twenties. I think it's never too early to start protecting your face. If you take care of your skin, people will notice. The idea is to protect your face from uv rays and keep it moisturized. Find a product you like, and stick with it. Don't smoke, as that causes the worst wrinkles. Drink lots of water, You will be beautiful! good luck

I don't think it will cause saggyness but its never too early to start preventative treatments.

If you don't see any saggyness right now, then just use a good moisturizer EVERYDAY. Something with Vitamin E and SUNSCREEN!!

I haven't heard of the sagginess side-effect, but I agree that preventative care is our best plan for our 20s! I wouldn't go so far as to use firming cremes (I'm not my mother YET. lol) but definitely use an SPF 15 EVERY day regardless of how much time you spend in the sun.

Whenever she feels the needs arises. I started using anti-ageing creams in my late teens, another women may not feel the need to start until her 40's. I say start young, prevention is definitely better than cure. Just don't overdo it if your skin is in pretty good condition already.

Which products specifically was your dermatologist referring to?

HTH : )

I'm 21 and I already use Oil of Olay Age Defying Lotion. It really helps my face look better. I can tell when I don't use it
