randy sucks balls as a judge, he doesn't even know what he's talking about...he's just trying to sound important.

Whatever..." u had many pitch problems here and there". That is constructive criticism. Randy is the only one up there with any sense most of the time. What are you talking about??? Besides anyone good enough to play alongside a legend like Neil Schon is okay in my book.

Actually, to some people, most everyone who sings is 'pitchy'. Most professional musicians have been trained to hear that, so it's really annoying to hear the pitch problems a lot of people have. I am astounded when I hear someone say that someone singing sounds good, when in my mind, I couldn't wait to get out of the room because they couldn't get right on key...

I think the problem is that he is able to recognize a performance that isn't up to par but he isn't able to explain why it was bad. I sometimes get the feeling that he doesn't really know what he is talking about because of those same repetitive comments. Pitchy, off key, out of whack, these are just the buzz words he's learned for a performance that isn't good.

I think he has a good ear and is able to realized when a contestant has, indeed, a pitch problem... ´cause they do!!!.
The contestant are amateur and they do need to work with their singing skills.... don´t you think is better to let them know their failures instead of playing the "good" jugde (Paula) and saying the same over and over.. you are excellent, you did a good job, you are great.
If you listen to them, really listen to them you will also realized they do have pitch problems.
