I guess my boyfriend and i've been a little too 'active' lately but it seems that i've completely rubbed myself raw. It hurts very badly, almost feels inflamed, doesnt seem to be swollen just very red. This last time when he and i were done i was cleaning up and noticed the very tiniest bit of blood, like maybe half or quarter of a drop.
Obviously we're going to lay off for a while and let me heal up, but i was wondering if anyone knows anyways to help it heal faster or at least stop hurting faster.. this is seriously painful.
Before its brought up i know that it's not an STD. We've been together for about a year and are both clean and loyal.
Thanks for a any help i can get!!!

Sounds like your boyfriend needs some lessons in foreplay and lube. Take sitz baths and ibuprofen to reduce swelling.

Your best help is symptom relief, so take some ibuprofen (Advil), because it will help with pain and swelling. Acetaminophen will ease the pain, but not the swelling, but if you can't take Advil, acetaminophen (Tylenol) is good enough. You could soak in a warm tub, or you could soak a pad, put it in the freezer, and then wear it for an ice pack (I know that sounds funny, but it's what the nurses tell new moms to do after labour). Heat or cold, whichever feels better to you, probably the cold is best for the first day or two. And may I suggest some lube next time so you don't get rubbed raw again (ouch???).

sounds like a yeast infection. I know some women who've had them and say they aren't itchy, but painful.
If you are sure it is not normal soreness from doing it dry, I'd go to the dr and check it out.
Try using lube next time.

hold a cold towel to it, anything hot will irritate it. and dont rub or scratch at it. be gentle even when wiping after you go to the bathroom and when washing during shower. try to leave it alone as much as you can. the skin has to heal over itself and any abrasions can delay that process.

it is possible that you have thrush by the sounds of it, having the genitals moist often with the friction can add to the incidence of same. But if its not this, panadol, and keep area clean and dry. dont use any soap near area, just wash with warm water.

yea you need to wait for sure. and your bf and you should think hey is this system all ready for lift off . if your not wet enough then dont do that.
wait for a time until your better thats for sure.
when you are better if you cant get wet enough or it goes on until after your no longer wet then get some lube from the drug store.

I would try first, something like Vagisil which is used for vaginal discomfort. You might also try KY jelly for lubrication (sort of like vaseline. Or perhaps something like Neosporin which is medicated.and used topically to prevent infection.
