I personally love sunsets...they always inspire me. : )
As far as beauty as an escape...no. In people I always have to look though the mask and into their eyes. I fall for no illusions...not anymore. Don't get me wrong, beauty is everywhere in the world. I feel that God speaks to me through the natural beauty in this world. I really do.

Yes, that's why I find it hard to believe that people don't believe in God. He cares enough about us to paint that beautiful sunset and lets it calm our souls. The best drugs in the world are ones like those - the ones God gives in little doses if we just slow down long enough from our chaos to take the time to look at them and let them heal us.
