My wife is pregnant also, and our doctor told us to stay away from any pain relievers other than Tylenol. A question like this should be answered by a doctor, not the legions of nitwits who answer on Yahoo. (Present company excluded)

Check with the doctor but there are times when they have women take pain medications. When I was pregnant I had migranes so bad I would go blind (no joke) and they gave me pain meds but I was too scared to take them. Sometimes the potential harm to the baby is less risky than the harm that could happen to the baby by feeling the mothers stress. No joke. I mean lets say you were in a car accident and were in a lot of pain from an injury. If you didn't take anything for the pain the baby would be able to feel the stress from your body and that might do more harm than a pain killer could. ALWAYS do what the doctor says!

i've got been on a good narcotic on and rancid when you consider that I had my son some weeks in the past because of the fact I injury my returned and he's on breast milk and formulation. there is not any replace in his responses or reflexes on a similar time as on the breast milk while in comparison with while he's on formulation or the days that i do no longer take something. The quantities that have been given into breast milk are so small. this is secure for the toddler, narcotics are easily authorized as secure in the time of being pregnant besides. Did you ever think of he could in simple terms have a lazy toddler? How could you be responsive to the toddler became into slow if the toddler has been getting the breast milk because of the fact the toddler became into born? you haven't any longer something to examine it to. It possibly has no longer something to do with the medicine the mummy takes, it may in simple terms be how the toddler is.

I have a 4 year old that I took pain medication throughout my preganancy (for medical reasons) and he is very healthy!!! Just remember that any type of medication that you take during your pregnancy needs to be prescribed through your doctor.
