It was entertaining but it was a disappointment. I thought they could have done better given the director and cast they had. Guess they felt contricted since it was a remake.
Personally, I would have liked it better, maybe, if more people would have been shot by more unknown conspirators. Yeah, somebody off that Baldwin guy for sure.

I was just on the phone with my friend saying the exact same thing! I was soooooo bummed when L.D. got shot, I think that ruined the entire movie. But, at the end when M.D. came home and M.W. was waiting for him...........YES!!!!! THAT WAS AWESOME!!!! Marky Mark is a hunky hunk!! Hubba Hubba!!! P.S. What the heck was in the envelope he asked the girl to hold for him? They could have done something with that too.

It depends on what kind of tastes you have. If you're not into gangs and violence, then you probably won't like it. Maybe you hate one or all of the actors. Maybe you hate Scorsese's directing style. I don't know. Personally, I liked it. I thought it was a good movie. Good enough to win an Oscar.

I liked it. Seems like some people base their dislike on who did or did not get killed. . .to me it does not matter bc they are not REALLY dead! I guess it just blows the chance for a sequel, which in my opinion is a plus. The "injustice" of it makes it better.
The only thing I did NOT like was JN holding his thang (yeah not real, duh, but!!).
On the other hand, I am still angry that Sirius Black is dead, so maybe you do have a point after all.

girls quit sobing over leos death i was pretty bumed to only cause matt should have died then if they had to leo what im really thick off about is how in the blue hell are you going to kill martin sheen i mean he's a freakin icon. and dont get me started on jack nic cause just ill break. they only should have killed matt and mark thats it.but hey im no director if thats the martin scoresse wanted to kill them off who am i to judge besides he won that award didnt he so next time dont call a movie bad unless it relly is

I still think that Babel sucks....that movie was indeed disappointment, full of stereotypes.

Personally, I thought it was good. Guess it has to be your type of movie for you to enjoy it.
