KC, Tampa, SF, Texas, Pittsburgh, Cincinnatti, Seattle, Cubbies, Atlanta, Diamondbacks, Rockies, Anaheim, Florida, Yankees, Minnesota, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Washington, Anaheim (its correct name - it AIN'T in LA), Oakland, Toronto, Baltimore, Houston.

That's right - it leaves Boston, The Padres, The Mets, Detroit, CWS, LA Dodgers (now you can use that LA thing, you media morons) and St. Louis (I predict a repeat unless the Mets can put them away)

This is a relatively simple exercise, as most of the bad teams did not improve. The Cubs did improve and so get a shot, although next year is their year. Here it is, by division:

AL East: Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Baltimore Orioles.
AL Central: Kansas City Royals.
AL West: Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers.

NL East: Washington Nationals, Atlanta Braves, Florida Marllins.
NL Central: Pittsburgh Pirates, Milwaukee Brewers.
NL West: Los Angeles Dodgers, Colorado Rockies, Arizona Diamondbacks

Why are the Dodgers on this list? Just because. Besides, they are going to finish third anyway, behind the Giants and Padres.

Remember, "no shot whatsoever" was specified. Some of the truly long shots include the Cubs and Blue Jays. And note that you can't play favorites here: much as I hate the Steinbrenners, they have the talent to go all the way; meanwhile, the mighty Mariners will be lucky to break .500, and I don't see both Anaheim and Oakland collapsing.

Orioles,Royals,Nationals,Devil Rays
Reds, and Pirates. Others but these FOR SURE.
BUT!! a prediction, even at the time of year, based on trades, acquisitions and their AAA prospects, is the Cubs and Minn Twins to be in the World Series. The Cubs especially have improved on their bullpen. The Twins have retained their catcher Mauer and 1st base Morneau, and Santana and Cuddyer. And if it wasn't for the Twins, we could look at the Indians.

Kansas City, Tampa Bay, Seattle, Baltimore, Cinncinati, Cleveland (because of the division they're in), Washington, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Arizona, and Colorado.

That means I'm giving both New Yorks, Boston, Minnesota, Detroit, both Chicagos, Oakland, both LAs, Texas, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Florida, St. Louis, Houston, San Diego, and San Francisco at least a chance at the WS....I still doubt it on some of these, but they at least have a shot.

By the way ferret435, there has to be at least one team from the NL in the World Series....that's kind of the way it works Einstein.
