Do I need to download something in order to get them to play? I'm trying to play the clips on TMZ.com, but when the video window opens up it says 'done' but nothing but a banner shows up. Help? thanks

You need the flash plug in for IE. It should be asking for it unless you have it being blocked. Double check your security settings and try again.

you need to re-install different things, like Java, Windows Media Player, Quicktime, ActiveX, DirectX (go to start menu -> run -> dxdiag)

download a codec pack. i suggest k-lite. use google to search for it or go to download.com or softpedia.com ... Note: when installing select personal edition or player edition.
